RECIPE AND MENU DEVELOPMENT
We work with a wide variety of clients to develop both individual recipes and full-concept menus – starting from scratch or enhancing what is already in place.

  • Brands and Retailers: promote your product and brand, increase sales and customer loyalty with custom recipes showcasing your products
  • Bed & Breakfasts, Restaurants and Cafés: create or enhance menus with new or updated concepts and recipes
  • Healthcare Organizations and Wellness Groups: assist clients in meeting health and wellness goals with recipes that are delicious and simple
  • Others in need of assistance in creating recipes for their own or consumer use

This service is customized to meet client needs and is priced per hour or per project. Pricing consists of the service fee plus the grocery expenses. The service fee includes:

  • Research and planning
  • Concept development for client review
  • Shopping for ingredients
  • Recipe development and refinement + two tests
  • Recipe writing, editing, formatting of final recipes

Optional add-on services:

  • Plating Instructions
  • Prep-ahead and Day-of Plan

We also partner with other professionals to provide:

  • Food Photography
  • Food Styling
  • Nutritional Analysis

 

RECIPE TESTING
We work with publications, brands, cookbook authors and others who need confirmation of recipe results.  We complete 1 – 3 testing sessions of a given recipe and provide information and feedback on the final results, clarity of instructions, cooking times and yield. We can also provide feedback on taste and flavors, or keeping time, if desired. Our service is customized to meet your needs and is priced per project. Pricing consists of the service fee plus the ingredient expenses.  Our recipe testing package includes:

  • client consultation
  • shopping for ingredients
  • testing time
  • written information and feedback on the final result, clarity of instructions, cooking times and yield

Optional services include:

  • recommendations on recipe improvements, such as evaluation of or adjustments to taste, flavors or texture.
  • observation of finished product keeping time (refrigerator, freezer counter top)
